Cavtat is a small and charming town in the South Croatia in the vicinity of Dubrovnik, one of the most popular landmarks of Croatia. Cavtat is an extraordinary beautiful town and is especially known as the maritime town of sailors and captains whose houses are still one of the most beautiful houses in Cavtat. Definitely the most famous monument in Cavtat is the mausoleum of the family Račić, built by the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović. Besides the mausoleum of the family Račić other monuments of Cavtat are the church of St. Nikola and house of the family Banac.
