Sobra is a small village and a harbor. It is located on the north part of the island of Mljet. Economy is based on tourism, farming, fishing, viniculture, olives and fruits growing. It is a popular village because of its restaurants with delicious specialties. Sobra surrounding slopes are covered with forest of pine and macchia. Sobra is connected with other places by a ferry line. Babino Polje is 7 kilometers far away. Sobra is a small place in which you can spend your holiday in peace and quiet.
Sobra is a main port on Island of Mljet. This is the place where all ferries from Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Korcula and Prapratno arrives and departs. Sobra is connected by regular bus line with other places on the island.
Sobra has couple of restaurants as well as handy food shop. Mljet's harbor authorities are located in Sobra too.
